Melanie woke up with a jerk and she looked round her room then at the clock by her bedside "Shit!" she quickly got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. Ten minutes later she was out and she started looking for her uniform

"Mummy!!"

 "Yes sweetie, what is it?"

"Have you seen my school skirt"

"It's in the drawer with your socks"

"Thanks". Melanie quickly dressed and headed down stairs.

"Morning mummy, morning daddy"

"Morning dear" she put her books in her bag and kissed her parents on their cheeks "I'm late see you after school “she left the house and headed for the bus stop. After getting on the bus she called her best friend Camilla Wayld "Hey Wayld watsup...no I’m on the bus will soon be in school....yeah this year’s gonna be mad....last year before a-levels its gonna be worth it.....see you in class then" she hung up the phone and waited for the bus to get to school

At school she headed to form room and went to sit beside Camilla "Hey babes"

"Hey...see that guy over there that’s the new foreign exchange student Henrie Bn Khalifah, Dads a French ambassador, I bet you can’t go talk to him" she sighed and said "Camilla you underestimate my abilities” she stood up and went to where Henrie was sitting with Dean Russo "Hey Dean....Hey, Henrie right I'm Melanie Duke, Welcome to Saint John's"

"Thanks' surprisingly he didn’t have an accent, she walked back to her seat "See, told you I could do it" "Okay fine...you win". Just then Justin Grey and his best friend Sean Craven walked into the class

"Hey Justin"

 "Hey Mel" she turned back to Camilla

"Well I wonder where Nahla could be she never misses the first day of school and she's never late" as she finished her sentence Nahla Lee walked into the class

"Hey everybody"

 "Oh my God Melanie. I missed you like crazy" she said hugging Melanie before hugging Camilla "So what have I missed" she suddenly caught a glimpse of Henrie "Who is that hot looking blonde guy"

"His name is Henrie Bn Khalifah, he’s the new foreign exchange student....moved here from France"

 “Oooh Nahla Lee has to get her claws into that"

"Nahla don’t be such a slag"

"Well I think Jean Grey has already beat you to it, it’s a matter of showing him my cleavage and he falls" they all laughed as the teacher came into the class for the lesson to begin.

After class Camilla and Melanie were heading to the Cafeteria when they bumped into Justin and Sean "Hey Melanie can I have a second"

"Yeah sure" she walked towards him "’Sup"

 "Well I needed a favour"

 "What?"

 "Well I was wondering if you could hook me up with one of your friends" she laughed "Your joking right"

"Come on don’t laugh I’m serious"

"Ok ok, what do you think about Nahla"

"Who the crazy one, No" she laughed "What about Camilla"

"Yeah id like that"

"Ok I’ll get back to you later then" she left and went back to Camilla.
