I wish we could go back to before the start,
To a time when you were my best friend, and hadn't stolen my heart.
When we laughed and joked and you weren't my lover,
Before we poorly committed ourselves to each other.
As much as I loved you it was right for me to go,
But I didn't intend on you becoming my worst foe.
I wish that you were still here with me,
But then we'd just be living in another memory.
Oh how I wish that I could just move on,
But all I really want is you back here in my arms...
